WORLD AIDS DAY LUNCHEON
World AIDS Day draws people together from around the world in solidarity to pay tribute to the millions of people living with HIV/AIDS, raise awareness of the global impact of HIV/AIDS, and celebrate victories that are allowing more people to live longer and healthier lives.
The CDC estimates that every year, 56,000 Americans become infected with HIV. Mecklenburg County is defined by the federal government to be severely and disproportionately affected by HIV disease. Each of us can make an individual contribution to ending the impact of HIV, but when we join together, our impact is forceful.
RAIN invites you to join with other community leaders at A World AIDS Day Luncheon. Your leadership will send a message to Charlotte that there is a strong community of compassion fighting this disease and that no one of us is alone.
If you are interested in hosting a table or to purchase a ticket please contact Joyce Brooks at 704-973-9819.
