Walking Strong. AIDS WALK Charlotte is one of the largest HIV awareness and fundraising events in the Carolinas. This 1.8 mile walk is a visual representation of the Charlotte region’s commitment to caring for our neighbors in need and slowing the spread of this devastating disease. All funds raised during this event stay in the Charlotte community and benefits the services and programs RAIN provides to youth, adults and senior adults living with HIV and those that are at risk.

Over two decades, AIDS WALK Charlotte has raised over $2 million for HIV/AIDS prevention activities and care for those infected. AIDS WALK Charlotte is a visual representation of the Charlotte region’s commitment to caring for our neighbors in need and slowing the spread of this devastating disease.

We walk bravely because our lives and the lives of others have been touched by HIV and AIDS.

We walk bravely because it’s our opportunity to stand up and be counted.

We invite YOU to walk bravely because all of us have or will be touched by HIV.
