Adult Support Group
RAIN’s Adult Support Group is called Covering Your Assets and is a co-ed group for individuals 25 and up that are living with HIV/AIDS, and is open to the community (meaning you don’t have to be a client of RAIN to attend). The group covers topics such as disclosure, nutrition, legal assistance, medication/medical appointment compliance, HIV education and other chronic illnesses. Representatives from pharmaceutical and medical fields present clinical education and provide the latest updates regarding research advancements and treatment.
Covering Your Assets meets at RAIN’s office building (601 E. 5th Street, Uptown Charlotte) in Room 376 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The group meets twice a month on Thursdays, except on weeks in which a holiday falls (please contact our staff to get schedule of dates).
