"These stories have extraordinary lessons to teach us all. Through story-telling, we learn timeless and universal lessons about love, healing and community." - Debbie Warren, President & CEO

Every day, men and women become infected with HIV and yet it seems we hear less and less about the impact of this disease.

We all have a story and on November 20 those stories will be shared by influential members of our community, the storytellers, through The Voices Project. The hope is to bring our community a little closer together with personal stories from friends and family who are infected with HIV.

The Voices Project is a collaborative theater production developed by RAIN and the Mecklenburg County Health Department and is a community platform bringing a voice back to HIV in Charlotte. Stories are shared from those living with HIV and remembering those that have passed, paving the road we currently walk along. With one voice it might be hard to hear but when we come together as a community those voices become louder and stronger.

The Voices Project is open to the public and there is no charge, but donations will be accepted.
