The Trinity Project

This program is funded by the Office on Women's Health

A faith-based HIV/AIDS prevention program providing gender appropriate education to female clergy and female congregational leaders serving communities disproportionately affected by health disparities. These leaders are trained to facilitate small groups within their congregation to address issues that are unique to women and girls and to offer education and prevention counseling to help eliminate stigma related to HIV/AIDS (and STD) that often inhibits individuals from seeking testing or accessing the care they may need.

In addition, The Trinity Project will establish ways to enrich the lives of women and girls living with HIV and will demonstrate and provide accurate, culturally, and linguistically appropriate information about HIV/AIDS (and STD) in the faith communities.
