Traditional CareTeams
RAIN's principal volunteer program and is made up of groups of individuals from faith-based congregations or other caring groups who form relationships with their CarePartner (client) and provide practical, emotional, and spiritual support to persons living with HIV/AIDS.
Network Volunteers
RAIN matches an individual volunteer's specific skills, time, etc. with a specific need of a client(s). Volunteers may network with RAIN staff; Hospice, hospitals, or other facilities; other volunteers or CareTeams; or other AIDS Service Organizations (ASO). Volunteers could also network to provide transportation; help with special projects; or support to clients with end-stage AIDS issues.
