World AIDS Day - Reading of Names
December 1, 2010 • 12:00 PM

Polk Park | Corner of Trade St. & Tryon St, Charlotte

World AIDS Day is held on December 1 every year and is an international day to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS around the world. The first World AIDS Day was on December 1, 1988.

RAIN will commemorate World AIDS Day by reading the names of individuals that have died of AIDS in the Charlotte region. The public is invited to attend and participate by remembering persons they have known that died from this disease. This event is in partnership with House of Mercy and Rosedale ID.
