Happy New Year RAIN family. As with every New Year, comes new goals and at RAIN that includes executing a newly approved strategic plan. During the course of 2023, the Board of Director’s worked with a consultant and the community to facilitate listen sessions, obtain feedback and construct a strategic plan for 2024 through 2026.
This year the staff will be busy implementing various strategies to enhance programs, increase community awareness about the relevancy of HIV, identify and engage new partners/donors, and invest in our staff. The plan outlines bold goals to meeting the mission of empowering people living with HIV and those at risk to be healthy and stigma free. Using a community centric approach and innovation in outreach and social media, RAIN is excited to get going. The road map created gives staff guidance while still allowing for flexibility within each goal.
A crucial part of the plan is the empowerment of our dedicated staff. This includes investing in staff retention, engagement, and professional development. Without our committed staff, our programs and services to the community would not be as strong as they are. Together, with your continued support, we can create a world where HIV and the impacts of stigma are minimized and eventually eliminated.
If you are interested in learning more about the plan, or how you can help, please contact us to schedule a meeting at info@carolinarain.org or donate here.
Thank you for being a crucial part of the RAIN family!
